Project Director (PPS-10)

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), operating under the Government of Pakistan, is seeking a highly experienced Project Director (PPS-10) on a contract basis. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, project management, branding, and stakeholder engagement expertise to strengthen Pakistan’s IT ecosystem and export growth initiatives.

• Lead and manage PSDP/ADP/Government-funded projects

• Oversee HR functions including recruitment, performance evaluation, and employee engagement

• Develop strategies to strengthen Pakistan’s IT and export ecosystem

• Build partnerships with academia, industry associations, and government bodies

• Manage marketing, branding, country promotion, B2B initiatives, and lead tracking

• Oversee budgeting, financial compliance, procurement, and administration

• Develop monitoring & evaluation (M&E) frameworks and present reports to competent authority

• Manage media relations, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement

• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements

• Minimum 16 years of education (IT, Computer Science, Management Sciences) from HEC-recognized university

• Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in senior managerial roles

• At least 5 years experience handling PSDP/ADP/Government projects

• Experience in finance, HR/operations, strategic management, and capacity building

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of IT industry and export market dynamics

• Expertise in country branding, event management, regulatory affairs, and policy development

• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools

• Annual 5% increment based on KPI achievement and performance

• Government project exposure

• Leadership role in national IT initiatives
