Knowledge, Innovation & Enterprise

The Knowledge, Innovation & Enterprise Working Group serves as a platform for researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs to strengthen Pakistan’s transition into a knowledge-driven economy. It seeks to connect alumni from leading universities with academic institutions, startups, industry leaders, and policymakers to accelerate the exchange of ideas and build innovation ecosystems that can compete on a global scale.

This group places emphasis on collaborative research and academic exchange, enabling cross-border partnerships that enrich Pakistan’s intellectual capital. It actively promotes digital transformation and emerging technologies, encouraging members to explore opportunities in AI, biotech, fintech, and other frontier sectors. By supporting entrepreneurship and startups, the group helps convert innovative ideas into sustainable enterprises, while also advancing technology transfer and commercialisation to ensure research outcomes translate into real-world applications.

In addition, the group is dedicated to enhancing STEM education and fostering a culture of innovation among young Pakistanis, preparing the next generation for global competitiveness. It also engages in shaping intellectual property frameworks and innovation policy, ensuring that Pakistan develops a robust environment for creativity, investment, and sustainable growth.
