National IT Board (NITB) is inviting applications from highly experienced professionals for the position of Project Director under the Smart Islamabad Initiative. The role requires strategic leadership to plan, manage, and execute large-scale ICT projects aligned with smart city and digital governance objectives.
Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Smart Islamabad Initiative

Plan, manage, and monitor ICT-based projects and smart city solutions

Coordinate with government bodies, vendors, and technical partners

Ensure timely delivery of project milestones within approved scope and budget

Oversee risk management, reporting, and compliance with government standards
Requirements
-
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in ICT project management

Proven track record of leading large-scale ICT or smart city projects

Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills

In-depth knowledge of ICT systems, infrastructure, and digital platforms
